How to Make Lavender Orange Honey Soap ~DIY~

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs of goat's milk melt & pour soap base
  • 1 tablespoon of orange peel powder (homemade or store-bought)
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons of dried lavender buds
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons of light honey (optional)
  • 16 drops of lavender essential oil
  • 4 drops of orange essential oil
  • Soap molds (I used ArtMinds)
  • Double boiler

Instructions:

  1. Chop the soap into small pieces to facilitate faster melting. Place the chopped soap in a double boiler and melt it, ensuring careful monitoring to prevent burning.

  2. Once the soap is melted, add the ground orange peel, dried lavender buds, honey (if using), and essential oils. Mix the ingredients thoroughly until well combined.

Before the soap cools, pour it into your soap molds. While the soap is still warm, sprinkle lavender buds and ground orange peel on top for a decorative touch. This adds a beautiful aesthetic to your soap bars.

After allowing the soap to cool for at least 6 hours, carefully remove it from the soap mold. If desired, you can embellish the soap for gifting by adding lace and additional lavender for a charming finishing touch.
